Lynsey Linnell MSc BSc (Hons)

“I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2003 from King’s College London and worked as a junior rotational physiotherapist at the QEII hospital before obtaining a senior position at Barnet hospital, now part of Royal Free London NHS Trust. I have worked in the NHS for a solid 20 years, principally in musculoskeletal outpatients and orthopaedics. I treat patients with acute and complex musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries and post- operative elective and trauma orthopaedic surgeries of the upper and lower limb. I also have extensive experience in treating complex hand injuries, including those that require splinting. For the last two years, I have been working as an advanced practice physiotherapist in a shoulder and elbow clinic and in a spinal orthopaedic clinic, working alongside a team of top orthopaedic surgeons. Additionally, I have also worked as a first contact practitioner across three GP surgeries in North London assessing and managing patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions. I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Advanced Practice Physiotherapy Network. I completed a Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice at London South Bank University in 2020 and am passionate about holistic patient care. I love exercise and empowering patients to better understand their condition and how to reach their goals. I have worked closely with Leanne in the past and know that we share this ethos. I am very excited to join her at Distinct Physiotherapy. “

Lynsey will be working every Tuesday and Thursday. She will be accepting new patients but will also be on hand to treat any of my established patients that might need her assistance.
